How do I search for what's on?

You can search our website in two ways. If you are interested in a particular location, then it's best to select that location on the map or selection list from the home page. From the location page you can search by specific region within your chosen location. By default we search for everything available for the coming month. You can also search on activity, attraction, event or service. Use the advance search button to refine your search even further.

We also have a quick links section on the left menu which allows you to search for kid friendly accommodation, kid friendly and kid healthy eateries, along with events and attractions activities and services that are based indoors or free.

Why don't I get anything local coming up on my search?

This means there is nothing listed which meet your search criteria. You could try amending your dates or interests, or visit the site again in a few days time.

How do I submit an activity, attraction, event or service?

Decide if what to add is an activity, attraction, event or service. Click on the appropriate entry in the Advertise your business with us option on the left menu. You will need to register with an email address and password before choosing to add en entry. In the input screen enter as much information as you like. Name, location, town, category and summary fields are all mandatory fields for each entry.

How do I remove an entry?

The system automatically removes the entry at midnight on your end day. However if your entry does not have a end date please contact us to permanently remove the entry for you.

I have loads of events coming up, is there a quick way of entering details?

It may be possible to accept bulk entries in an Excel spreadsheet, but this needs special attention our end. Please email us to discuss the practicalities.

Are there any rules governing what I can say?

Remember this is a children's website. Please read our terms and conditions so that everyone can get the most out of irelandforkids.ie. You'll find them at the bottom of each page. If you are posting events or attraction information, please ensure you stick to the terms and conditions when doing so. If you are a user, please let us know if you feel any entries you come across infringe these terms and conditions.

Can I update my entry if circumstances change?

Yes, you can use our update your entries in our advertise your business with us menu, if you wish to amend your entry. You will have to enter your email address and password to access your entry
